World Class Winney
The field of Republican candidates for U.S. Congress this year is indeed fine, and the choice in the primary will be a difficult one. Since we can only choose one, though, I encourage my fellow Republicans to throw their support behind Bill Winney.
Bill Winney has been a world-class actor on the world stage as a Naval officer from Wyoming. Over a distinguished 30-year career, Bill has served our country well and made Wyoming proud. He is again willing to continue his faithful service to Wyoming and our nation with the experience and skill hes developed.
As Captain of two Navy ships, Bill held in his hands the life and livelihoods of enough souls to fill a small town. He has held weighty responsibility in his hands and handled it well. Im convinced we can rely on him to handle well the responsibilities of our Representative in Congress.
While working at the Pentagon, Bill saw how Washington works and honed his ability to succeed in a political bureaucracy, just what we need in an effective U.S. Representative.
For these reasons Im convinced that he would be able to hit the ground running, able to begin effective service in minimum time.
Bill Winney is committed to Republican principles and would ably champion them in Congress. Even though he was unable to rise in the ranks of the state party because he was rising in the ranks of the U.S. Navy, I contend he is nonetheless worthy of our enthusiastic support. Honorable national service counts for a lot in my book.
I urge all Wyoming Republicans to cast their vote for Bill Winney on August 19th.
